Sidekick Orchestration

What is an AI adoption partner, and do you need one?

Your company pays for ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot. A few people use it every day, most don't, and nobody inside has the time to get everyone else there.

The short answer. An AI adoption partner gets a company using AI on its daily tasks: it coaches the leaders to use AI on their own jobs first, then sets the tool up for each team's repeated jobs, trains the teams and measures whether people keep using it. Sidekick Orchestration is an AI adoption partner in Metro Vancouver, BC, for owners and leaders of small and mid-sized businesses without a full-time AI lead.

Vancouver and across Metro Vancouver. In person or by video call.

What an AI adoption partner does

  • Coaches your leaders first

Leaders learn AI on the jobs on their own desks, such as proposals and client updates, so they can answer their team's questions.
  • Sets up the tool for each team's repeated jobs

In Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot, built from your templates and past work. A person checks the output before it goes anywhere.
  • Rolls it out, team by team

Next come the people others already go to for help, then each team, in short hands-on sessions on their weekly tasks.
  • Measures daily use and results

Measures agreed at the start, such as proposal turnaround, reviewed every 30 days. The job is done when people use AI every week and the numbers show what changed.

How it differs from other kinds of AI help

An IT provider

Manages licences, security settings and who can see which files. It doesn't coach your managers to use AI. An adoption partner works alongside it.

A software builder

Writes new software, such as an app or a connection your AI tool can't make. Hire one when the job needs code.

A trainer or course

Teaches a class, often to everyone at once. Good for the basics. Use usually fades when nobody follows up on each team's actual tasks; that follow-up is the adoption partner's job.

A full-time AI hire

A person on staff whose whole job is AI. Worth it once AI work fills a full-time role. An adoption partner works for a set term and leaves your leaders able to run it.

Do you need one?

You probably do if your company pays for an AI tool, a few people use it, and nobody inside has the time to own getting the rest there. The same goes if your board expects you to lead on AI and you rarely use it yourself.

You probably don't if someone on staff already owns AI as their whole job, if the problem is software that needs building, or if only one or two people need help. And wait if your leaders aren't ready to use AI themselves: training staff first rarely sticks, because nobody senior can answer their questions.

Questions to ask any AI adoption partner

  • Who do you start with?

A good answer: your leaders, on the jobs on their own desks, before any staff training.
  • How will we know people are using it?

A good answer: usage and results checked against measures you set at the start. Attendance at a session doesn't count.
  • What will have changed in 90 days, and what if it isn't working by day 30?

A good answer: your leaders use AI every week, your teams have started, your numbers are compared with where they began, and there is a day-30 review that can change the plan.
  • Who keeps the setups when you leave?

A good answer: you do. The instructions and setups sit in your company's AI account, and your people know how to change them.

What it costs at Sidekick, and what it buys

For one leader, Solo sets AI up for the jobs you repeat each week and coaches you on it for 30 days. For a company, Fractional coaches your leaders first, then your teams, with measures reviewed every 30 days. Each price below sits next to what it buys.

The first call is free and takes 30 minutes. Chase Bernier, who founded Sidekick Orchestration, works with you in the AI tool your company already pays for, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.

Questions buyers ask first.

When to choose someone else

  • Someone on your staff already owns AI as their whole job.
  • You need custom software or connections between systems built. Hire a software developer.
  • You need licences, devices or security managed. That is your IT provider's job; we work alongside them.
  • No executive will sponsor the work. We don't start Fractional without one.
What is an AI adoption partner?

A firm that gets a company using AI on its daily tasks. It coaches the leaders to use AI on their own jobs first, then sets the AI tool up for each team's repeated jobs, trains the teams and measures whether people keep using it.

Is an AI adoption partner the same as an AI consultant?

They overlap. Many AI consultants advise on strategy or build software. An adoption partner's work is done when your people use AI on their tasks every week and the measures show it. Sidekick Orchestration does both the advice and the coaching, leaders first.

How much does an AI adoption partner cost at Sidekick Orchestration?

For one person, Solo is $1,800 CAD, paid once, or $2,900 CAD, paid once, as Solo for Execs. For a company, Fractional is from $6,000 CAD a month with a 90-day minimum: $6,000 CAD a month for about 2.5 days a month, $9,000 CAD a month for about a day a week, or $12,000 CAD a month for about 5 days a month. The price depends on how many people we support and how fast you want to move.

How long does it take?

Solo runs 30 days. Fractional has a 90-day minimum: leaders in the first month, the people others go to for help in the second, and the first teams in the third, with measures reviewed every 30 days. After day 90 you choose whether to continue.
