Sidekick Orchestration

Set up AI safely with your IT provider in Vancouver

You want ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot working on real client work, without guessing what is safe. Here is how the plan, the policy and the roles fit together.

The short answer. For most firms, client data is safe in ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot when staff use an approved business plan, the AI reaches only what each task needs, and a written AI policy says what goes in. The bigger everyday risk is staff using free or personal accounts. Sidekick Orchestration sets AI up for your people and their daily jobs across Metro Vancouver, while your IT provider owns licences, permissions and security settings, and Chase never logs in to your systems.

Business plans, personal accounts and Copilot

Business plans

On business plans of ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot, the vendors say your data doesn't train their models. Anthropic makes an exception if a customer joins its optional Development Partner Program, so check whether your company has joined.

Free and personal accounts

These sit outside company controls. On personal accounts, the employee decides whether chats can be used to train the models, and your company can't see or change that choice. An approved business account removes the reason to use one.

Copilot in a Microsoft 365 firm

Copilot is usually the lower-effort choice, because it uses the permissions your IT provider already manages. It can find anything a user can already open, so fix SharePoint sites and Teams shared with the whole company first.

ChatGPT or Claude connections

Business plans can be equally safe when each connection reaches only what the task needs. Avoid one shared login: it lets everyone reach every file that login can see.

What goes in which tool, in writing

A short AI policy says which tools staff may use and what stays out. Sidekick drafts it with you in Solo for Execs and Fractional.

  • Approved business account only

Name the tools staff may use, such as your company's Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude business account. Company information never goes into a personal or free account.
  • Everyday work

Proposal drafts from your past proposals, meeting notes, internal emails, templates and research go in the approved tool, and a person checks the result.
  • What stays out

The policy lists what never goes into AI. If your work involves regulated or highly private information, some of it should stay manual.

Who does what

Your IT provider and Sidekick each keep to their own part. You know who handles what before anything is connected.

Your IT provider

Owns licences, admin access, permissions and security settings. Reviews and approves, narrows or declines each tool and connection before it is set up. Account security and backups stay with them.

Sidekick Orchestration

Picks the first jobs with you, drafts your AI policy, prepares the setup for each person's tasks and coaches them until they use it. Chase never logs in to your systems or asks for passwords.

Your company

One named person supplies real examples of the work, makes time to practise and checks the AI's output. Your people connect their own accounts, signed in as themselves.

Ways to work with Sidekick

Every option includes working with your IT provider on access and settings. Solo suits one person, Solo for Execs adds the written AI position, and Fractional rolls AI out across a team.

The first call is free and takes 30 minutes. Chase Bernier, who founded Sidekick Orchestration, works with you in the AI tool your company already pays for, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.

Three ways to start

  • Solo

AI that drafts the jobs one leader repeats every week, built in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot, with four 30-minute coaching calls over 30 days.$1,800 CAD, paid once.

  • Solo for Execs

Everything in Solo, plus a written position on what AI should and should not do in your company, for a leader who decides how staff use AI.$2,900 CAD, paid once.

  • Fractional

Part-time AI leadership for your company: leaders first, then their teams, with coaching and the setups people use. 90-day minimum. From $6,000 CAD a month.

Questions buyers ask first.

When to choose someone else

  • You need someone to manage licences, devices, backups and security day to day. That is an IT provider's job, and Sidekick doesn't run a help desk.
  • You need a formal security audit or certification. Hire a security firm; this page explains the questions to ask and isn't a security certificate.
  • You need legal advice on your privacy obligations to clients. Talk to your lawyer.
  • You need custom software built to connect your systems. Hire a software developer.
Is our client data safe in ChatGPT or Claude compared to Copilot?

Either can be safe on a business plan with limited access and a written policy. For a Microsoft 365 firm, Copilot is usually the lower-effort choice because it uses the permissions your IT provider already manages. The bigger risk is staff using personal accounts.

Do we need business plans, or are personal accounts OK?

Use business plans. The vendors' promises about training on your data apply to business plans, and personal accounts sit outside company controls.

Will you log in to our systems?

No. Chase never logs in to your systems or asks for passwords. Your people connect their own accounts to the permissions your IT provider approved.

Does our IT provider have to be involved?

If you have one, yes. They review and approve each tool and connection before it is set up, and you're welcome to bring them to the first call.

Which AI tool should we use?

If Copilot is already in place and in use, we build on it. If not, we recommend the tool that fits your work, and your IT provider sees that recommendation first.

How much does it cost?

Solo is $1,800 CAD, paid once, for one person. Solo for Execs is $2,900 CAD, paid once. Fractional is from $6,000 CAD a month with a 90-day minimum. AI subscriptions are separate, billed by the provider.
